Canceling your subscription
If you need to cancel your ScoutzOS subscription, you can do so at any time from your account settings. Here is what to expect.
Step 1: Open Billing Settings
Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar and click the "Billing" tab.
Step 2: Click "Cancel Subscription"
Scroll to the bottom of the billing page and click "Cancel Subscription." You will be asked to confirm your decision and optionally share feedback about why you are leaving.
Step 3: Confirm cancellation
Click "Confirm Cancellation" to finalize. You will receive an email confirming the cancellation.
What happens after cancellation
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period. If you paid for the month, you can use ScoutzOS until that month ends.
- Data is retained for 90 days after your subscription ends. During this period, you can reactivate your account and pick up where you left off.
- After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
Exporting your data
Before canceling, we recommend exporting your important data:
- Go to Settings and click "Data Export"
- Select the data you want to download (properties, tenants, leases, payment history)
- Click "Export" to generate downloadable CSV or PDF files
Refunds
ScoutzOS does not provide partial refunds for unused time on monthly plans. Annual plan subscribers who cancel within the first 30 days may request a prorated refund by contacting support.
Reactivating your account
If you change your mind within 90 days, simply log in and select a plan. Your data and settings will be restored. After 90 days, you would need to create a new account.
