Handling lease renewals

ScoutzOS tracks every lease expiration and helps you retain good tenants.

Automatic reminders

At 90, 60, and 30 days before a lease expires, ScoutzOS sends you a reminder. You can also configure tenant-facing reminders so they know a renewal offer is coming.

Sending a renewal offer

1. Open the lease from the tenant's profile or the Leasing section
2. Click "Send Renewal Offer"
3. Set the new rent amount, lease duration, and any updated terms
4. Click "Send" — the tenant receives the offer via email and in their portal

Tenant response

Tenants can accept, decline, or request changes from their portal. You see their response in real time.

Month-to-month conversion

If a tenant does not renew but does not move out, you can convert the lease to month-to-month with one click. This keeps the rent and terms in place on a rolling basis.
