Managing team permissions
ScoutzOS uses role-based access control to ensure team members only see what they need.
Available roles
| Role | Properties | Tenants | Financials | Settings |
|------|-----------|---------|------------|----------|
| Admin | Full | Full | Full | Full |
| Manager | Assigned | Assigned | View only | None |
| Maintenance | Assigned | Limited | None | None |
| Viewer | Read only | Read only | Read only | None |
Assigning roles
- Go to Settings > Team
- Click the three-dot menu next to any team member
- Select "Change Role" and pick the new role
- Changes take effect immediately
Property-level restrictions
For Manager and Maintenance roles, you can restrict access to specific properties. This is useful if you have regional managers who should only see their assigned buildings.
Audit log
ScoutzOS logs all team member actions including logins, data changes, and permission modifications. View the audit log under Settings > Security > Activity Log.
