Paying rent online

The ScoutzOS tenant portal makes paying rent fast and convenient. You can pay with a bank account (ACH) or debit card from any device.

Accessing your tenant portal

Visit your property's tenant portal URL or log in at scoutzos.com/sign using the email address your landlord has on file. If this is your first time, click "Set Password" and check your email for a link to create your login.

Making a one-time payment

  1. Log in to your tenant portal
  2. Click "Pay Rent" on your dashboard
  3. Review the amount due and any applicable fees
  4. Select your payment method (bank account or debit card)
  5. If paying by bank account for the first time, enter your routing and account numbers
  6. Confirm the payment amount and click "Submit Payment"

Setting up auto-pay

To avoid missed payments, you can enable auto-pay:

  1. Go to "Payment Settings" in your portal
  2. Toggle "Auto-Pay" to on
  3. Select your preferred payment method
  4. Choose the payment date (on the due date or a few days before)
  5. Save your settings

Auto-pay charges your selected payment method automatically each month. You will receive an email confirmation after each successful payment.

Payment processing times

  • Bank account (ACH): 3 to 5 business days to process
  • Debit card: Typically same-day processing

Viewing payment history

Click "Payment History" in the sidebar to see a complete record of all your payments, including dates, amounts, and confirmation numbers.

Troubleshooting

If a payment fails, ScoutzOS will notify you by email with the reason. Common causes include insufficient funds or expired card information. Update your payment method and try again, or contact your landlord if you need assistance.
